Recorded Webinar: An In-Depth Look at the 2020-2025 Dietary Guidelines for Americans

This webinar was presented on Friday, January 22, 2021, from 2-3 p.m. EDT.

Since 1980, the USDA and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) have released the Dietary Guidelines for Americans (DGAs) every five years. The 2020-2025 guidelines were much anticipated, since for the first time they include recommendations for children aged 0 to 24 months, and pregnancy and lactation.

Join Toby Amidor, MS, RD, CDN, FAND, as she reviews the history of the DGAs and the additions and modifications made to the latest edition. In addition, Toby will discuss ways practitioners can help clients more closely adhere to these nutrition recommendations.
