Recorded Webinar: Sweet Science: Demystifying the Impact of Low- and No-Calorie Sweeteners on Gut Health, Cravings, and Cancer Risk

This webinar took place on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, from 2-3 p.m. ET.

It’s well-researched that overall nutrition choices have a direct impact on not only gut health, cravings, and cancer risk, but overall well-being. But what about low- and no-calorie sweeteners (LNCS)?

Join Nichole Andrews, Davide Risso, and Tyler Townsend, for an impactful presentation that cuts through the confusion and explores the latest research on LNCS in relation to gut health, cravings, and cancer risk. The webinar presenters will deep dive into regulatory standards of LNCS and review actionable insights that RDs can employ to advise clients with confidence.

Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, nutrition professionals will better be able to:

  1. Explain how low- and no-calorie sweeteners (LNCS) are regulated.
  2. Interpret the body of literature related to LNCS, gut health, cravings, and cancer risk.
