Patients often seek the services of an RDN because they are sick and tired of feeling "sick and tired." Bloating, stomach discomfort after eating, inconsistent bowel habits, and similar complaints are commonplace. While diagnosing is not within the RDN's scope of practice, we can help clients with symptom management. The comprehensive nature of RDNs' counseling sessions permit us to dig a bit deeper into solving the complex mystery of what may be ailing patients and clients — without invasive diagnostics! This webinar will discuss food allergies/intolerances, SIBO, FODMAP, IBS, motility issues, and GERD and provide practical strategies for assisting with symptom management.

The live version of this webinar was presented on Wednesday, August 15th, 2018 from 2-3pm ET by Felicia D. Stoler, DCN, MS, RDN, FACSM, FAND. This recorded version is approved for 1 hour of continuing education credit. RDs should list code 175 for this activity type.
