Nutrition Needs for Aging Adults
This continuing education course reviews the leading health concerns of older adults and their dietary needs, macronutrients and fluid recommendations, and plant-based and other diet solutions.

Learning Objectives
After completing this continuing education course, nutrition professionals should be better able to:
- Assess malnutrition and describe why it’s a major health risk to older adults.
- Educate patients on three micronutrients of concern and explain how to include them in the diet.
- Evaluate two modifiable feeding challenges older adults may face.
