This continuing education course explores current research on the health benefits of berries and provides dietitians with the knowledge and tools to help patients and clients enjoy these delicious fruits while improving their health.
After completing this continuing education course, nutrition professionals should be better able to:
- State three key nutrients in berries.
- Describe the role of berries in disease prevention.
- Compare the nutrient quality of canned, frozen, and fresh berries.
- Identify three ways for patients and clients to increase their berry consumption.
