CDR Activity Type 175

This webinar provides RDNs with techniques for refining their counseling skills - a critical component in promoting positive client behavior change. While most RDNs received some coursework and training early in their careers, many of us rely on common sense to guide our counseling sessions. Client-directed counseling training offers specific techniques that can be practiced and utilized immediately.

After completing this session, practitioners will be more effective and confident, their ability to serve their clients will be much improved, and their clients will feel more empowered and committed to making healthy changes.

The live version of this webinar was presented by Beth McKinney, MSEd, RD, CHES, on Wednesday, February, 13, 2019 from 2-3 pm ET. This recorded version is approved for one hour of continuing education credit. RDs should list code 175 for this activity type.
